## Apply

The application is structured in 4 steps: **Basics**, **Details**, **Funding**, and **Review**. Apply [here](https://www.star.fun/submit) to get started.

### Required to submit

* **Project basics:** logo, project name, ticker, and elevator pitch
* **Core links:** website URL and X/Twitter username
* **Media:** one hero asset (demo video or banner image)
* **Project details:** full description
* **Fundraise setup:** minimum raise, monthly treasury allowance, and public allocation percentage

### Fundraise setup parameters

* **Minimum raise:** The minimum amount you need to raise. If you don't hit this target, investors will be refunded.
* **Monthly treasury allowance:** Your expected monthly operating budget after the raise. This amount will be sent automatically to you on a monthly basis.
* **Public allocation percentage:** The share of total token supply sold in the raise. This directly affects your starting price and FDV:
  * Selling a **smaller** percentage means fewer tokens are sold for the same raise amount, which implies a **higher** starting token price and FDV.
  * Selling a **larger** percentage means more tokens are sold, which implies a **lower** starting token price and FDV.
* **Liquidity allocation:** **20% of raised USDC** is reserved for post-launch trading liquidity by default.
* **Team performance package:** Remaining team tokens unlock based on performance milestones. Unlocks are milestone-based (2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x relative to launch price), and because supply is fixed, these map to market-cap milestones over time.

### Optional but recommended

* Team members (name, role, X handle, and photo)
* Telegram, Discord, and GitHub links
* Additional project media (images)
* Project documents (PDFs, up to 5)
* Referral code (if referred by a partner/fund)

### Key defaults in the flow

* Deposit window is fixed at **24 hours**
* Total token supply is fixed at **1,000,000,000**

## The Shot

The Shot is our weekly show, powered by curation markets, that determines which team gets the platform's next **fundraising slot**.

### How curation markets work

1. Applied projects are reviewed and curated into a batch.
2. A **curation market** runs for that batch, with one **conditional market** per project, plus a **None** option.
3. Each market represents the expected outcome for the platform if that specific project is selected to raise.
4. Participants trade these conditional markets throughout the window.
5. At resolution, the project with the highest conditional **TWAP** for the price of **\$STAR** wins and advances to fundraising.

If all projects underperform, **None** can win, meaning no project advances from that batch.

This mechanism is designed to optimize for the project (or no project) that market participants collectively believe will produce the best outcome for Star.

Curators are financially rewarded for selecting the right outcome; see [here](/investors/investing-staking) for details.

Today, our team decides which projects make each batch. Over time, this selection process will shift to **STAR stakers**.

### Pitch format

* Teams pitch live on stream to a panel of investors, founders, and creators.
* Typical format is **\~5 minutes pitch + \~15 minutes Q\&A**.
* Curators can trade the curation markets while the pitch is happening live.

### What founders should expect

* Fast feedback from both market activity and live audience response
* A clear yes/no outcome from curation
* If selected, immediate transition into the raise flow
