# Fees

Star's fees are simple and apply at two stages: while you're fundraising, and after your token successfully launches.

## During fundraising

Star takes a **1% fee on all trades during the fundraise**.

## After a successful raise

Once a token **successfully fundraises**, Star takes a **0.5% fee on trades**.

| ---------------------- | -------------------- |
| During fundraising     | **1%** on all trades |
| After successful raise | **0.5%** on trades   |

  Separately, **you (the founder) earn 0.5% on every secondary trade** of your token once it's live.
