Creating a project on star is a straightforward process designed to get you to launch as smoothly as possible. This guide walks you through each step of the submission flow.
1
Connect X/GitHub
The first step is to connect your GitHub or X (Twitter) account. This is how we verify you’re a real builder. An automated verification system will review your X and/or GitHub profile to ensure they are active. Based on these profiles, a rating will be displayed on your project page.
2
Project details
Tell us about your project. You’ll provide the basics like your project’s name and token ticker. This ticker is what people will be searching when looking for your token, so make it relate to your project.
3
Pitch
This is where you’ll provide a more detailed description of what you’re building and the utility of your token. You can also upload a product demo video to showcase your project in action.
4
Socials
Add all the relevant links for your project, and connect your Twitch account to livestream your launch directly on your project page.
5
Tokenomics
Configure the financial model for your token launch. You’ll choose your raise model (Dynamic Price or Fixed Price), set your fundraising goals, and decide on the token allocation between your team and the public. For more info, visit raise models.
6
Vesting schedule
Set up a vesting schedule for your team’s tokens. This is mandatory and signals a long-term commitment to your project. Choose a vesting term that aligns with the expected timeframe of your project.
7
Review and launch
You’re ready to go. Review your project carefully, as parameters like your target raise cannot be changed after launch.
