We fundamentally believe that every startup should have a token - distributing ownership across a large base of backers offers a unique competitive advantage as you suddenly have 100-100,000 people who want to see you win. That being said, we believe there is a right time to launch a token. Too early, and you might confuse the success of your token with the success of your business (these are different things). So we advise teams to first build a working product that they know people love, and use a liquid token to pour fuel on that fire.
