End-to-end flow

  1. Create an account
    Sign up on Star to access raises, portfolio tracking, and staking features.
  2. Fund your account or connect a wallet
    You can deposit funds directly into your Star account or connect an external wallet, depending on how you prefer to manage custody.
  3. Join a live raise
    Select a startup raise and commit capital during the fundraising window.
  4. Receive your allocation
    Raises are pro-rata and run for up to 24 hours. If a raise is oversubscribed, final allocations are proportional to total demand.
  5. Understand what your investment represents
    Investing in a raise means buying exposure to a startup’s upside through its tokenized ownership structure, rather than only speculating on short-term trading momentum.

Vesting and priority in a sale

The vesting component lets investors signal long-term commitment. By choosing to vest, participants can strengthen their position and receive first priority in a sale relative to less committed supply.

Raise outcomes and refunds

  • If launch requirements are met, the raise proceeds and allocations finalize.
  • If launch fails or thresholds are not met, participants are refunded.

Staking

Staking aligns curators with raise quality and ecosystem growth. Staked curators receive:
  • 2.5% of successfully raised funds
  • 100% of curation market trading fees
This creates a direct incentive to identify and support high-quality opportunities early, while improving signal quality for the broader investor base.
